I love waking up and getting to go back to sleep for a little while.
I love hanging out in pajamas, playing rummikub and lego.
And I really love when we can also be productive the week before Pesach (basement fridge? done.)
I did not, however, enjoy the fact that my boots were nowhere to be found.
I only became concerned when it became obvious that all the many inches were not going to melt themselves off the van before school started - even with the two hour delay.
So I wore my rain boots to clean the car.
And while they’re cute and all, they are also older than my oldest child and so not really waterproof at all anymore.
But we live on the sunny side of the street so I'm hoping the snow will start melting before long. Until it freezes over tonight. And the salt-freeze-salt-freeze games begin.
Spring. I know you're out there somewhere.
:)
