I recently started making these wonton chips after I saw a recipe for wonton wrapper cups.
The wonton wrapper cups couldn't be easier - I've made them for company. Just place a wonton wrapper into each cup of a muffin tin, spray with cooking spray and bake on 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Fill with taco salad or tuna fish or anything, really.
So easy, right?
So wait, these wonton chips are even easier.
Cut a stack of wonton wrappers in half on the diagonal, making two
triangles from each square.
Spray a foil lined cookie sheet with cooking spray and carefully line up
the wonton wrapper triangles on the cookie sheet. Many triangles can fit on a
sheet, but only if you treat them like puzzle pieces. Otherwise, only about 9
triangles will fit.
Sprinkle some salt and garlic powder (or any spices that you like) on the
triangles, give them another spray of cooking spray and stick them into a
preheated 400 degree oven for 5 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
So yummy - we like to dip them into chumus or guacamole. And so much
healthier than anything you can buy in the store.
Are you a Mom?
Of course you are,
