I don't about all of you, but I have intensely fond memories of watching The Price is Right as a kid. And so does Josh. And it only made us further contemplate our respective childhoods when ALL of our parents - independent of each other - took one look at our Plinko game and declared that they had never heard of it before.
What?!
That's like having never heard of Let's Make a Deal. Or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Or dare I say, Wheel of Fortune. Very strange. I can only shake my head and wonder why everything is so weird sometimes.
This is how it worked - if you answer a question correctly, you are invited to Come On Down! and take your chances on the Plinko board. Also, if you ask a good question, the same thing happens. It definitely slowed things down a little bit, but everyone was in such a good mood, that it didn't matter.
Point cards were printed out before the chag, each person at the seder had an enevelope with their name taped to the wall, and all points were stored in the envelopes. The winner, well, I'm not sure what the winner gets, but I'm kind of hoping the kids forget about their points.
I can dream, can't I?
:)
